The Governor has been arrested along his Chief of Staff , of course this political scandal is the talk of the media in the States now. It is a political corruption scandal beside of course the attractive Obama factor.

Of course this is the second big major Governor scandal in 2008 in America after the Spitzer scandal “Strangely Spitzer for the first time came out publicly and is writing now a financial column in Slate Magazine” .

Why am I interested in all this ?? Well because it is good to see governors getting arrested while they are still in their position !! It is good see that the Governors are well monitored !!??

I spoke before about our governors, I do not want to accuse most of them but I will be modest and say some of them profited from their position in a way or another.

Will the day come in Egypt and we will find that the Administrative control authority presented enough evidence to General prosecutor to issue a warrant against Governor “X” for taking bribes from Company “Y” to pass their pollutant project or from businessman “Z” to give him the permission on building in an agricultural land !!??

Most if not all our Governors conspired and will continue to conspire with the NDP in the Parliamentary elections. Well they are' appointed by the head of the NDP ,so they know the rules of the game. If they go along with the orders ,they won’t continue in their position.

I know that this day will come but I do not know when , I just hope it will be very soon “I am an optimistic person”

Anyhow Obama knows that he is more popular than Bush in the Islamic world and thus he will use this popularity to enhance America’s damaged image. Already he should know that it is not only Bush that damaged America’s image in the Islamic world “surely he had the biggest share” ,it is an old accumulating thing from decades of unconditional support to Israel and conditional support to dictators in the region. 

Now back to the main theme or rather question in the article “Where shall Obama say his expected speech ?? “ The search for an Islamic Capital that is not danger on his security and is still influential  can be considered a dilemma.

To tell you the truth I was waiting to read the name of our capital Cairo in the report ,otherwise I would feel very sad , I feel that we are no longer important in the region. Still Cairo is Cairo ,the Jewel of Islam and the perfect secure capital for Obama.You got one of the biggest population in the Arab Islamic world.This made me happy because we are still considered important despite the fact Mubarak made us lose our position in the region. Ironically there is one obstacle in choosing Cairo that is also Mubarak and his dictatorship. Obama can neglect the fact that Mubarak is a dictator and choose Cairo as place for his message to the Islamic world but this send a wrong message in the world : He is still supporting the dictators of the Arab Islamic world. I think this is from the earliest indicator that Obama won’t be Mubarak friendly.

Well it is not only Egypt that is ruled by a dictator ,most of the Islamic world is ruled by dictators whether are with or against The U.S.

Some people especially the Nationalists will not welcome Obama just like they did not welcome Nixon, I respect their view and totally understand it but I look from the way that we lost a lot from our position as a leading influential country in the region. I do not know how to explain , it is not about supporting Obama but about knowing your country is still considered an important player in the region.Lately I feel that we are so weak thanks to Mubarak. Mubarak took Egypt and it was leading Country from Sadat and he managed to alienate us more than Sadat and the time of the Arab boycott.  It is not about being a puppet in the hands of U.S this time ,it is about delivering a message to the Islamic world. Of course because we are ally we can be considered as biased.

Seriously it is a dilemma ,you need an influential Islamic democratic country that is widely respected by the world and the Islamic world and not considered a puppet in the hands of the Americans to send from it a message to the Islamic world

Of course now in my mind I believe that Obama can say his speech in Qatar as the new face of change in the Arab Islamic Gulf world !! Qatar our little new rival but again it does not fit the profile , it is a puppet in the end.

Anyhow if Obama wants to say a speech in Cairo to addressing the Islamic world in Peace ,then he will be mostly welcomed.

Ashley Dupre aka Christine was the prostitute that brought down NY governor Eliot Spitzer if you remember from couple of months earlier this year in the States.

Dupre appeared with famous Diane Sawyer special report about prostitution in 20/20 , I am waiting for this episode when they show it on MBC 4.

To tell you the truth I do not know why they host someone like her after public scandal , it is not about prostitution. Already for most of the clip I feel that I am in front of Drama Queen. She felt connected to Silda Spitzer !!?? She considers escort service different from Prostitution !! To be honest I loved Sawyer’s reaction to her in this question.

Dupre wants to be famous , I remember her MySpace page during the crisis she wanted to a singer and now she wants to write a book !! Dupre is not devastated like Slida Spitzer or her daughters.

The example of Dupre is in everywhere in this world.If you remember the infamous story John Porfumo and his scandalous affair with Christine Keeler ; Of course in much worse way thanks to the KGB part in it.

Surely Spitzer and Porfumo wrote their end by themselves , I mean if it were not for Keeler and Dupre ,it would be someone else. Still I hate when the Media gives more attention to women like Dupre and Keeler turning them in to stars where as everybody knows who they are .

Dupre and Keeler now entered the history of their countries but unfortunately from the most dirtiest doors !!

Anyhow forget about Forward and please read what he wrote especially the last part. The rest we know it very well in Egypt but just concentrate to the last part where he says :

America’s next president should take full advantage of the Mubarak regime’s current vulnerability to push for the opening up of Egypt’s political process and clear the way for the country to address the underlying causes of instability. But Washington must act quickly, before it becomes too late to do anything but watch from the sidelines as Cairo burns.

I do not know why I have the feeling that since the secret Obama envoy visit to Cairo with his generous offer , Mubarak will gain power, Obama wants to revive the Peace Process and unfortunately he needs Mubarak . I wish I am wrong but again as Bradley said in the beginning of the feature , Egypt was absent from Obama’s speeches unlike other countries in the region unlike McCain, it is not about the  rallies, I followed this election from the very early being. Bush administration was bad in all ways but we should not forget that they give Mubarak and son hard times because of democracy and freedom.

Anyhow it is less than 2 months to know the Obama policy towards Egypt.

I wonder if next year Mubarak will visit D.C or not as he used to do years before our relations with Washington turned from bad to worse.

For Sure America needs Egypt in the region and there are many files in front of Obama in the region he needs Egypt in from the Peace Process he promised to reactivate to Iraq to the American-Syrian relations to Darfur.

Of course this was just a polite introduction phone call no more no less despite the envoy of Obama’s visit to Cairo before the elections shows that the new administration may not push on the Egyptian Regime in the start for the political democratic reforms.

"Obviously he’ll influence the President to be pro-Israel. Why wouldn’t he? What is he, an Arab? He’s not going to be mopping floors at the White House."

It is not a surprise to me because I know that for sire Old Emmanuel has his own war crimes record against the Arabs.  As soon as the news has arrived to the States,  the American Arab Anti—Discrimination committee demanded an official apology from Rahm Emmanuel. The Smart new chief of staff at the White House apologized officially and directly to the committee.

The good thing that the Arabs got someone to defend them like this excellent committee in the States , the other good thing is this statement can make many Americans think about the choice of Rahm and his loyalty.Yes his position is not the secretary of State but do not forget my dear reader that Hilary Clinton may be the secretary of State and thus you got big Pro-Israel supporters in the White House known to the world

This is quick apology I think came after knowing the reaction of the Arabs in our part of the world , we were so happy by Obama and the American Embassies around the Arab world were so happy by this because after 8 years people again began to put some hopes on America , but then came Rahm and people began to suspect.

Heikel ,the famous Egyptian Journalist last week spoke in a special program on Al Jazeera and shared with the viewers across the Arab world with Rahm C.V including his father’s glorious past in killing the Palestinians and his own experience in the IDF during the first Gulf war.

Again I am really proud with the AAD Committee, God bless them.
